Biography: Angel Marie Lovett was born on December 12 on a the Ship Queen Anne's Revenge. Her father named Edward Teach was a man of treachery and a child, let alone a girl to be born was not convenient. He did love the woman who had given birth to his offspring, but a family was not convenient for a deviant "merchant" as himself. He then on the night of his daughter's birth kissed his beloved Eleanor, or "Nellie as he called her and made love to her for the last time. He loved her very much but love again was not convenient for a man. As Eleanor left, he walked over to see his child. He touched her cheek just to feel the warmth of the child he shouldn't grow any attachment to. He let out a tight smile and turned to see Eleanor. He then walked over to his desk and dipped his quill in ink. He then wrote an extensive letter which he explained his reasonings to his lover.

After he finished the letter he lifted a sleeping Nellie and put her in a spare dinghy. He then walked over and lifted his newborn daughter and placed her next to her mother. He placed some food and a map with a compass for his beloved, then lowered the dinghy and it went on it's way. Edward then lifted the anchor and sailed off only god knowing where his "family" was going.

Days passed and Nellie and Angel finally saw land. She was helped by some men and she asked in Cockney English of their location. They had gone south from South Carolina to reach Port Royal. Thanking the lords, she asked for help from any civilian. One man Benjamin Barker was kind enough to dear Nellie to offer him his home. Once she was given room and board she met his lovely and virtuous wife Lucille and their two year old daughter Johanna. Nellie became Johanna's nanny, since poor Lucille was sick from the viruses of old London. It had turned out that the Todd's had moved to Port Royal after Lucille had gotten sick and they heard from their doctor that warm temperature and nice air would cure her. That was not the case, nine months later Lucille passed away and her last wish being that Nellie and Benjamin wed. They did as she told them and Nellie became Nellie Todd.

Years passed and Angel was now deemed Angel Todd. Benjamin was a good man and Angel thought of him as him being her real father till Johanna told her the actual story; since then she renamed herself (not legally) Angel Lovett. Benjamin was a barber, the best one in Port Royal, while her mother was the best baker there ever was. Johanna being two years older than Angel took her under her wing. She was a slight odds with her for her character was weaker than Angel's; Angel was not a frivolous child as was Johanna.

As she got older she saw her elder sister married off to a sea merchant named Anthony. Angel now getting close to the age of marriage, tried to avoid any entanglements. Throughout her life, the sea has been her calling and after reading dozens of novels on pirating she had thought of them as true adventurers. Her mother's hate for pirates made Angel the more curious. As of now she roams the ports and docks watching men go towards the sea, maybe one day she'll reach it.
